My life got infinitely better.
I can't even begin to put a form of measurement on it. Any pain/suffering/complaining from the last 41 weeks & 1 day instantly went away & my heart melted down into an overflowing puddle of mud.
Without writing pages upon pages of mushy-gushy my-baby-is-the-best-ever-born-and-radiates-joy-and-happiness-into-the-world goodness I will simple say:
Thank you Kate, for being my Daughter. I am the luckiest woman ever to have lived to have the honor of being your Mother. I love you.

(we took advantage of some awesome morning light & a happy baby first thing today)
(saying bbbaaabbbbaaabbbaaabbbaaa)
(spotting Daddy - p.s. she's loved her lamby ever since she was tiny)
(our 1st "baby" decided to crash the shoot - slowly but surely he's warming up to her)
(letting me know she's had enough of picture taking for now & wants "up" - I cannot tell you how much I love that she can now let me know that she needs/wants me in a way other than crying or yelling - it makes my heart burst with joy)

(first day home from the hospital)
To quote Mary J. "I never knew there was a love like this before..."
(perhaps not in the way she was singing it, but you get the gist)
